Executive ChefMichael Roberts
For the previous four years, Chef Michael Roberts has been the executive chef of Flatbush Farm in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Michael is committed to using the best locally available ingredients to prepare food of exceptional quality. He believes that flavor and product presentation, along with simplicity and elegance of the execution are the cornerstones of a thriving dining room.
Prior to becoming an executive chef, Michael attended New York's French Culinary Institute, augmenting his education traveling and tasting throughout Europe. Professionally, he has served as sous chef at Manhattan's Town Restaurant and Out of the Fire, a farm-to-table establishment in Easton, Maryland.
Over the years, Michael developed longstanding relationships with many local farmers, fisherman and other small-scale food producers, including Debragga, D'argtanon, Pierless Fish, Sid Wainer, and Blooming Hill Farm -- relationships that enable him to keep food quality high.
